About Your Stay
-
Our location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/iRhyMj2bW5ha641C7.
You do not require a 4x4 to get to Bait Al Aali. Streets are narrow, but cars (until small truck size) can get through and come to Bait Al Aali. Contact us +968 9144 0286, if you experience some issues.
We have noticed that offline map apps guide you to an incorrect location (or we are not even found on offline maps). Should you not be able to find Bait Al Aali, then please use directions to Bait Al Safah. We are just down the same road to the left (at a T-junction). You might even pass us on your left before reaching Bait al Safah. We have a big green door. -
Limited parking is available in front of Bait Al Aali.
-
Your stay includes a homemade Omani dinner. Please let us know your preferences/requirements 48 hours before your arrival. Subject to availability, we will serve non-vegetarian (meat, chicken, fish) and/or vegetarian food as a family dinner with all our guests around 7pm.
Food is being prepared by a local family in their home kitchen. We will try our best to accommodate your preferences as much as possible.
Should you be later than that, please inform us so we can keep you some food. Kitchen is closing at 9pm.
Breakfast is vegetarian (eggs, cheese, yogurt etc) and continental style.
-
Please note currently we can only accept cash payments. Sorry for the inconvenience. In Al Hamra we have ATMs (Bank Muscat and NBO) and a money exchange.
-
Rooms can be cancelled free of charge 48 hours prior to your arrival.

We love animals and the environment.
We are trying as much as possible to reduce plastic waste where ever possible. We don’t offer plastic bottles and single use plastic. We repurpose plastic bags (the ones around your towels). We don’t use toilleteries in plastic but soap bars.
We support local families and farmers by buying local produce.
Some of our proceeds are being used for stray animals in Al Hamra, e.g. feeding the cats, neutering and vet bills.
While we are trying as much as possible, unfortunately some of the circumstances in Oman don’t make it convenient yet.
